Manicure Mondays-Orly Pure Porcelain

This is Pure Porcelain from Orly's Spring 2011 collection.  I've been drawn to pastel colors more and more lately.  This one is a bone color that leans lilac or pink, depending on the lighting.  It is not as stark as white but can appear white from far away.  The formula was a little thick but easy to work with.  It took 2 coats to acheive opacity.  This is with a base coat of CND Stickey base coat with no top coat.  Please excuse the look of my fingers, I just applied cuticle oil to them.  It wore for about 3 days before it chipped.   I really liked the color as I felt it contrasted nicely with my skin tone.

  1. I worse this one about 3 weeks ago myself. I found that it chipped a little bit faster than I expected (Nail Magic base and Seche Vite top coat. This week, I'm wearing Zoya Gemma and I love it! Zoya has become one of my favorite brands recently. The formula is so nice and the brush is the perfect size for my nal bed.

  2. It did chip a little fast for me also. I normally can wear polish for a minimum of 4 days. I too love Zoya polishes! They are excellent.
